台湾の離島澎湖（ポンフー）では、2002年から毎年4〜6月ごろに海上花火大会を開催しています。2017年はすでに花火大会は終了していますが、8月〜9月にかけて開催される合計6回の連続イベント「跳島嘉年華」においても花火大会が開催されることとなりました。
跳島嘉年華では、6回にわたり七夕やロックミュージックフェスティバル、スポーツイベントを開催し、各イベントの最後には花火が打ち上げられる予定となっています。

- 8月19日（土）16:00〜：藍色公路遊澎湖
藍色公路とは「青い道路」のこと。嘉義から澎湖までのフェリーのルートを藍色公路と呼ぶそうで、これに関連したイベントが開催されます。 - 8月28日（月）17:00〜：七夕放閃情人節
8月28日は農暦（旧暦）7月7日の七夕です。七夕関連のイベントです。 - 9月2日（土）19:20〜：2017奔向世界最美麗海灣路跑
9月3日に開催されるハーフマラソン大会の前夜祭です。選手向けのイベントですが一般の方も花火は楽しめるようです。 - 9月11日（月）〜9月24日（日）：翻滾吧！媽宮
「媽宮」とは澎湖の都市「馬公」の昔の呼び方。9月22日のロックフェスティバルに合わせて2週間ほどイベントが開催されます。 - 9月22日（金）：命待！搖滾音樂節
ロックミュージックフェスティバルです。会場は観音亭のすぐ近くの「媽宮史蹟公園」です。アメリカやイギリスからもミュージシャンがやってくるそう。 - 9月30日（土）：跑吧！國際鐵人三項
10月1日に開催されるアイアンマンレースの前夜祭です。こちらも選手向けのイベントですが、花火は一般の方も楽しめます。

ロックミュージックフェスティバル以外のイベントは、それぞれテーマがありますが、旅行者としては「屋台が並んで、最後に花火の打ち上げもあって賑やか！」という認識で遊びに行けば良いと思いますよ。
